# Today View and 04:00 Settlement
Explore To do, Schedule, and Reports in the Today view, along with the 03:45 daily settlement and 04:00 session reset.

Open the OpenMousse app to view **Today** in the third tab of the bottom bar; the daily 03:45 settlement and 04:00 session reset run automatically in the background on your server.

A day in OpenMousse starts at 04:00. Today brings together items waiting for your approval, scheduled events you need to attend, and reports delivered by your functional agents; overnight, the system automatically distills the previous day's conclusions and archives the day's conversations.

## Structure of the Today view

From top to bottom, Today is divided into three permanent sections (between 05:30 and 13:00, a wake-up card—your morning briefing—is also displayed at the very top of the day view):

- **To do**: Items that require action from you. This includes approval cards waiting for your approval, security alerts tagged **Security** (for example, a message from a friend's side carrying embedded instructions, or a Butler reply held back by Doorman), and upcoming tasks and deadlines.
- **Schedule**: Events you need to attend that day.
- **Reports**: Information compiled and delivered for your reading by functional agents—for example, a sleep card generated by the sleep agent showing how long you slept last night, your recovery score, and your 6-day recovery trend.

## 03:45 settlement and 04:00 session reset

Every night, according to your time zone, the system performs two steps:

1. **03:45 settlement**: Main chat and each functional agent review the past day's conversations and data, writing the day's conclusions along with newly learned facts, preferences, decisions, and recent updates about you into their respective dedicated memories and the memory tree. If main chat notices a task you have assigned repeatedly, it also proposes creating a new functional agent after settlement and places the proposal in your inbox for approval.
2. **04:00 session reset**: The day's conversations are archived by day. Chat history is browsed by day, with 04:00 as the boundary between days.

> **Note: When the wake-up card appears**
> The wake-up card (morning briefing) appears at the very top of the day view only between 05:30 and 13:00 each day and is not grouped under the **Reports** section below.

## What stays out

- **Meeting minutes cards do not appear in To do**: After a short multi-agent meeting ends, the meeting minutes card appears directly in **Main chat** (with **Confirm** and **Open** actions) and does not go into **To do** in Today.
- **Unsaved thoughts in Zen are excluded from the 03:45 settlement**: Quick thoughts jotted down in Zen, or notes saved by tapping **private note** while refining an idea, are stored only as local Markdown notes and are not automatically written to the memory tree or any agent's memory during the 03:45 settlement.
